I can’t believe it’s May 1st and this is only my second post of the year (woopsie).

You might be asking: “Wait… wasn’t this supposed to be a weekly drop?”

And yes, you would be correct.

Honestly, I’ve been asking myself the same thing. But all I can really say is… life was lifing.

Have you ever gone through a phase where no matter what, everything feels like it’s working against what you’re trying to achieve? Like nothing is going your way, your motivation has packed its bags, and all you want to do is lay in bed rewatching your favorite book adaptations for emotional support?

Yep. That was me.

I slowly drifted away from the things that usually make me feel my best. Health and wellness got pushed aside. Days started blending into each other. Cooking turned into regular takeout. And don’t even get me started on the non-existent movement routine.

But slowly — and I mean slowly — I started crawling out of that hole.

And now? We’re here.

Ready to make May ours.

Why I’m Doing a 30 Day Comeback Reset

I don’t want to let summer pass me by.

In fact, I want to be one of those girls who’s ready by 9 a.m. with her hair done, sunscreen on, phone charged, lip gloss packed, and disposable camera in hand — fully prepared to say yes when fun finds her.

I want long walks, beach days, smoothies, spontaneous plans, glowy skin, confidence, energy, and memories.

But before we get there, I know I need a reset. And if you’ve been feeling a little off lately too, then maybe you need one as well.

Not an extreme reset like 4 a.m. wake ups or the no-fun calorie-counting. I’m talking about a gentle but disciplined reset. One that helps us feel like ourselves again and creates habits now so summer feels easier later.

Before We Begin…

Make yourself your favorite drink. Grab a snack. Light a candle if you’re feeling extra, and let’s plan out our comeback.

The Secret: One Habit at a Time

Every week this month, we’re focusing on just one habit.

That’s it.

Then the next week, we keep habit #1 and add habit #2. Then week three, we keep both and add another. By the end of the month, you’ll have built four healthy habits into your life.

And listen… four habits in one month is actually amazing.

According to Atomic Habits by James Clear (which is also the only self help book I’ve ever read lmao please give me the fictional romance books I beg of you), it takes about 21 days to fully adopt a new habit.

A lot of us (me included) go wrong by trying to change everything overnight:

  • New diet
  • New workout plan
  • New skincare routine
  • New sleep schedule
  • New personality apparently

And by day five, we’re overwhelmed and back in bed ordering fries. This time, we’re doing less. Which usually means we’ll achieve more.

Your 30 Day Comeback Habit Menu

Choose habits based on your life, your needs, your current season. Not what sounds impressive online. Pick what would genuinely make you feel better.

Below you will find 10 habits you can choose from to implement into your 30 Day Comeback Reset.

Habit Menu

  • Getting 8 hours of sleep
  • Moving your body for 30 minutes daily
  • No social media before 12 p.m. and after 8 p.m.
  • Only eating whole foods at home
  • Daily 10-minute meditation
  • Daily 10-minute journaling
  • Morning + evening skincare, body care AND hair care
  • Reading 30 minutes a day
  • Drinking 2 liters of water daily
  • Doing absolutely nothing for one full hour a day (for the brave)

A Reminder Before You Try to Overachieve

You might be thinking:

“Okay but drinking water is easy. Surely I can add three more habits immediately?”

And to that I lovingly say…

Nope.

That’s the old version of us talking. The point of this Comeback Reset is to make growth feel sustainable, not dramatic. We are not collecting habits like Pokémon cards. We are building a life that actually works.

One habit at a time, baby.

My Personal 30 Day Comeback Reset

Here’s what I’m doing this month:

Week 1

No scrolling before 12 p.m. and after 8 p.m.

Week 2

Move my body every day for 30 minutes

Week 3

Get 8 hours of sleep

Week 4

Only eat whole foods at home

If You’ve Been Feeling Behind…

Let this be your reminder:

You do not need to fix your whole life in one week.

Healing isn’t linear. Motivation comes and goes. Some seasons are for thriving, others are for surviving (either way I’m proud of you!)

What matters is that you begin again.

A Few Things That Helped Me Reset In The Past

These products have helped me immensely in the past and are things I will 100% bring with me into this new reset.

A journal you actually want to open

One of my biggest pet peeves in life is a journal that does not journal the way I want it to. My perfect journal is one that has thin but high quality pages which do not bleed through, and one you can completely lay flat. This Midori Notebook has been my ride or die for journaling these past couple months.

A candle because ambiance solves at least 14% of problems

Ever since I entered my twenties, my nose has been so sensitive to smells, but particularly American scented candles. The moment I step into a room with a generic candle I get a headache. So I’ve been on the hunt for a candle I can light to romanticize my life and I actually got this Trinida Candle as a gift from my dad and it’s the most amazing candle ever. Think vanilla goodness floating in your room. You got gotta trust me on this one.

A water tumbler for messy girls

I might have dropped my water bottles too many times in my lifetime to own another tumblr but while I love drinking out of actual cups, bottles and tumblers are just so convenient to take out to the gym or on a walk. I needed a bottle that I could actually drop and not spill my drink because let’s be honest, that will still happen. I’ve been using the BrüMate Era Tumbler and I will never go back. You can lock the straw so you don’t have to worry about your water spilling (bonus is the straw is metal so no microplastics in your drink yay!)

Let’s Make This Summer Ours

I’d love to know what your 30 Day Comeback Reset looks like. What habit are you starting with?

With love,

xx
